China's Ministry of Commerce spokesperson, He Yadong, announced during a press conference on Thursday that China is prepared to negotiate with the US government to address trade differences and maintain a healthy economic relationship. Yadong emphasized that negotiations would be based on mutual respect and aim for a win-win outcome for both nations. He also warned that the tariffs proposed by President Donald Trump could harm both countries. This statement followed Trump's indication of a potential 10% tariff increase on Chinese imports, possibly effective from February 1.
